Pool Time

Each time you burn your candle, you'll want to give yourself enough time to allow the wax to melt all the way out to the edge of the vessel. This will create a wax pool and prevent tunneling.

Never Alone

For your safety and the safety of the people and things you care about, never leave your candle in a room unattended. Always burn it within sight and be sure the flame is completely out before leaving the room.

Hair Cut

Be sure to give the wick a good trim each time before you burn! Down to about 1/4 inch should do just fine. This is necessary to keep that flame under control. Never burn a candle down to the end of it's wick - stop burning once it reaches 1/2 inch.

Take a Break

Be sure not to burn your candle any longer than 4 hours at a time.  Burning beyond that in one sitting may cause the wick to mushroom and make the flame a bit too large for comfort or safety.

Level Ground

No one wants a melted wax mess or anyone/anything getting burned. Keep your candle on a level, stable, heat resistant surface at all times.

Out of Reach

Keep your candle out of reach of your fur babies and your human babies. We don't want anyone getting hurt! Also be sure to keep your candle away  from flammable materials (drapes, paper, carpet, decor, etc).
